Sustainer Rep, Mary Sue Wolf, has been involved with JLL for 17 years. That’s a number that’s easy for her to remember because her eldest child was just 2 weeks old when she joined.
She decided to join JLL because she was a first-time mom, recently “retired” from her career, and was looking for a way to stay connected to the community. She found that connection through women she met while volunteering her time with other organizations. Turns out that those volunteers were JLL members. Throughout her experience with JLL she loved the diversity of interests and members, and said that the league was a “terrific place to remain active in leadership positions, and gain additional experience that could be applied in a professional environment if I chose to return to work.”
Mary Sue held a variety of placements, including: Grants, Nominating, House Programs, and Membership Development. Her favorite placements include Membership Development and being the Sustainer Rep, which is a placement she’s held for the last 2 years.
Author’s Luncheon is her favorite JLL fundraiser and her favorite project was Storks Nest – a program that rewarded new moms and moms to be with new baby supplies for attending parenting classes at LGH.
When Mary Sue isn’t giving back through JLL or the Manheim Township School District, you will find her practicing yoga, cooking healthy food, and traveling with her family. The family’s goal is to visit all 7 continents, and they only have 2 left to go!
Thank you, Mary Sue, for all of your hard work and dedication to JLL over the years!
